Non-Immigrant Visa
Category “O” (Others)

Single or Multiple (1 year)

This type of visa, under Immigration Act 1979 Article 15 and 34(15), will issue to the applicant who wish to enter the Kingdom of Thailand for activities as follows;

1. To perform duties or tasks in a family of an alien, who has entered the Kingdom to perform diplomatic, official, or other functions. An applicant must be a father, a mother, a spouse or a child of, supported by, and part of a family of the alien;
2. To perform duties as a private servant in a residence of a person who is a member of a diplomatic mission, a person who has equal immunities and privileges as a member of a diplomatic mission, or with international organizations;
3. To support or to be supported by a person who is a Thai national or has a permanent residence in Thailand. An applicant must be a father, a mother, a spouse or a child of, supported by, and part of a family of such persons;
4. To perform duties for state enterprises or charitable organizations; (single entry only)
5. To enter the Kingdom of a person who is once had a Thai nationality;
6. To receive a medical treatment;
7. To be a sport coach as required by the Thai Government (a sport coach for a private organization who earns money from the organization must apply visa for Non- Immigration category “B”).
8. To be a contestant or a witness in a judicial process.

Application for one-year Non-Immigrant Visa “O” is required prior approval from the Royal Thai Embassy before submission of visa fee

(1) To perform duties or tasks in a family of an alien, who has entered the Kingdom to perform diplomatic, official, or other functions. An applicant must be a father, a mother, a spouse or a child of, supported by, and part of a family of the alien;Requirements:

• An application form completely filled out and signed by the applicant;
• A valid passport for travelling to Thailand with sufficient remaining validity (not less than six month). The validity of 18 months is required for one-year visa application;
• One set of passport information page photocopy, last Thai visa page & renewal page (if any);
• Two colour passport-sized photos (3.5 x 4.5cm), taken against a white background and within the past 6 months;
• Visa request letter from the applicant & concerned authority;.
• Evidence of adequate finance e.g. Current Bank Solvency and Bank Statement of the last 6 months with satisfactory transaction (at least 20,000 Baht per person and 40,000 Baht per family OR 60,000 Taka per person and 120,000 Taka per family). Only original Bank Statement and Bank Solvency Letter are acceptable. In case where the applicant is sponsored by his/her company and the company Bank Statement and Bank Solvency Letter are submitted, a trade license has to be attached;
• A copy of air ticket or a booking confirmation or an itinerary;
• A certified copy of work permit or equivalents of the alien (in case working with international organization)
• A copy of passport of the alien (first visa, and extended stay permission page)
• Marriage certificate (for a spouse of the alien)
• Birth certificate (for a child of the alien)
•  Proof of paternity (for parents of the alien) 

(2) To perform duties as a private servant in a residence of a person who is a member of a diplomatic mission, a person who has equal immunities and privileges as a member of a diplomatic mission, or with international organizations;
Requirements:

• An application form completely filled out and signed by the applicant;

(3) To support or to be supported by a person who is a Thai national or has a permanent residence in Thailand. An applicant must be a father, a mother, a spouse or a child of, supported by, and part of a family of such persons;

Requirements:

• An application form completely filled out and signed by the applicant;
• A valid passport for travelling to Thailand with sufficient remaining validity (not less than six month). The validity of 18 months is required for one-year visa application;
• One set of passport information page photocopy, last Thai visa page & renewal page (if any);
• Two colour passport-sized photos (3.5 x 4.5cm), taken against a white background and within the past 6 months;
• Visa request letter from the applicant & concerned authority;
• Evidence of adequate finance e.g. Current Bank Solvency and Bank Statement of the last 6 months with satisfactory transaction (at least 20,000 Baht per person and 40,000 Baht per family OR 60,000 Taka per person and 120,000 Taka per family). Only original Bank Statement and Bank Solvency Letter are acceptable. In case where the applicant is sponsored by his/her company and the company Bank Statement and Bank Solvency Letter are submitted, a trade license has to be attached;
• A copy of air ticket or a booking confirmation or an itinerary;
• A certified copy of identification card of the Thai national or a certified copy of permanent resident certificate/card of the permanent resident;
• Marriage certificate (for a spouse of the Thai national or the permanent resident)
• Birth certificate (for a child of the Thai national or the permanent resident)
• Proof of paternity (for parents of the Thai national or the permanent resident)

(4) To perform duties for state enterprises or charitable organizations

Requirements:

• An application form completely filled out and signed by the applicant;
• A valid passport for travelling to Thailand with sufficient remaining validity (not less than six month). The validity of 18 months is required for one-year visa application;
• One set of passport information page photocopy, last Thai visa page & renewal page (if any);
• Two colour passport-sized photos (3.5 x 4.5cm), taken against a white background and within the past 6 months;
• Visa request letter from the applicant & concerned authority;
• Evidence of adequate finance e.g. Current Bank Solvency and Bank Statement of the last 6 months with satisfactory transaction (at least 20,000 Baht per person and 40,000 Baht per family OR 60,000 Taka per person and 120,000 Taka per family). Only original Bank Statement and Bank Solvency Letter are acceptable. • A copy of air ticket or a booking confirmation or an itinerary;
• Invitation letter from related organizations located in Thailand to confirm volunteer service;
• Copy of License/Certificate of the Establishment of the Organization issued by concerned Thai authority;
  Remark: For activity no. (4), applicant can apply for single entry only.

(5) To enter the Kingdom of a person who is once had a Thai nationality
Requirements:

• An application form completely filled out and signed by the applicant;
• A valid passport for travelling to Thailand with sufficient remaining validity (not less than six month). The validity of 18 months is required for one-year visa application;
• One set of passport information page photocopy, last Thai visa page & renewal page (if any);
• Two colour passport-sized photos (3.5 x 4.5cm), taken against a white background and within the past 6 months;
• Visa request letter from the applicant & concerned authority;
• Evidence of adequate finance e.g. Current Bank Solvency and Bank Statement of the last 6 months with satisfactory transaction (at least 20,000 Baht per person and 40,000 Baht per family OR 60,000 Taka per person and 120,000 Taka per family). Only original Bank Statement and Bank Solvency Letter are acceptable. In case where the applicant is sponsored by his/her company and the company Bank Statement and Bank Solvency Letter are submitted, a trade license has to be attached;
• A copy of air ticket or a booking confirmation or an itinerary;
• Evidence of Thai Nationality previously received;

(6) To receive a medical treatment

Requirements:

• An application form completely filled out and signed by the applicant;
• A valid passport for travelling to Thailand with sufficient remaining validity (not less than six month). The validity of 18 months is required for one-year visa application;
• One set of passport information page photocopy, last Thai visa page & renewal page (if any);
• TTwo colour passport-sized photos (3.5 x 4.5cm), taken against a white background and within the past 6 months;
• Visa request letter from the applicant & concerned authority;
• Evidence of adequate finance e.g. Current Bank Solvency and Bank Statement of the last 6 months with satisfactory transaction (at least 20,000 Baht per person and 40,000 Baht per family OR 60,000 Taka per person and 120,000 Taka per family). Only original Bank Statement and Bank Solvency Letter are acceptable. In case where the applicant is sponsored by his/her company and the company Bank Statement and Bank Solvency Letter are submitted, a trade license has to be attached;
• A copy of air ticket or a booking confirmation or an itinerary;
• Certificate/ Letter of request from hospital in Thailand plus medical opinion from doctor to confirm applicant’s necessity;
• Medical prescription from local doctor in case of transferring the patient to Thailand;
• Medical invitation letter from hospital requesting to issue a one-year visa.

(7) To be a sport coach as required by the Thai Government (a sport coach for a private organization who earns money from the organization must apply visa for Non- Immigration category “B”

• Requirements:
• An application form completely filled out and signed by the applicant;
• A valid passport for travelling to Thailand with sufficient remaining validity (not less than six month). The validity of 18 months is required for one-year visa application;
• One set of passport information page photocopy, last Thai visa page & renewal page (if any);
• Two colour passport-sized photos (3.5 x 4.5cm), taken against a white background and within the past 6 months;
• Visa request letter from the applicant & concerned authority;
• Evidence of adequate finance e.g. Current Bank Solvency and Bank Statement of the last 6 months with satisfactory transaction (at least 20,000 Baht per person and 40,000 Baht per family OR 60,000 Taka per person and 120,000 Taka per family).
